Course Overview 


This course focuses on Responsible education for people working or volunteering with Whale and Dolphin organisations. It is the perfect start to an incredibly satisfying career or a great way to prepare for volunteering with one of the 140 organisations who are part of the World Cetacean Alliance. WCA

Our Responsible Whale Watching Guides Course is the perfect avenue into this competitive industry.   This course will provide participants with the skills to be an engaging, fun and informative guide promoting responsible whale watching.  Through assessed activities and interactive workshops our 5-day intensive course is designed to equip participants with a wide variety to skills to educate the public and promote whale and dolphin conservation.  Our WCA Qualified Responsible Whale Watching Guides will enjoy FREE access to our exclusive Whale Champions community for a year, including a newsletter containing volunteer opportunities with our amazing Partners all over the world.



Career-Focused Certified Guide Course 


To become a Certified E-ko Land and Sea Guide a further 15 days of practical training is required this will also qualify you to be a Certified  World Cetacean Alliance Whale and Dolphin Guide.

Our Qualified Responsible Whale Watching Guides will be able to apply for opportunities to volunteer with our whale watching Partners around the world to protect and conserve cetaceans. Working with on board researchers, as a WCA certified Responsible Whale Watching Guide you’ll be interacting with the public, educating them about the whales, dolphins and other marine life in the area, as well as raising awareness of the conservation work our Partners are engaged in.
