This Voluntary Marine Reserve is a Community-Driven effort to Save our Queen Charlotte Sound Hectors Dolphin. The Chosen area is where they nurture and birth their young. There are under 40 individuals in Total. Following the water path from the Land to the Sea to create a Sustainable Habitate so they can survive and flourish. A multiple Stakeholder area focused on community input and participation for science and education to supply a Solution for the Marlborough Sounds and Future Generations to come.
