MODULES INCLUDE:
- Familiarisation of the WCA guide career path and training methods
- Full knowledge of WCA Training System
- Knowledge of Speciality Courses use across the Globe, up to 15 items.
- Assisting a WCA Guide Trainer on a 5-day Practical Training Course
- Undertake a supervisory role of students in training to be Marine Guides
- Coordinate the Trainee Guide team, pinpointing areas of both strength and weakness – working with the team to ensure consistent quality and those learning goals are consistently met
- Ensure consistent commentary content and delivery by all Guides
- Complete Certified Marine Guide examinations and Certify your first Students
REQUIREMENTS TO PASS THE COURSE:
- Be associated with a WCA training facility
- Demonstrate you have worked a minimum of 12 months as a Senior Marine Guide with a WCA partner
- Have exceptional organisational and leadership skills
- Demonstrate you have the required teaching skills
- Have extensive knowledge of 15 WCA specialties
